Dennis, thanks.
Given this thing has never been converted to 134a, has to have a new
receiver/dryer, and needs flushing, I think I will take it to an A/C shop
and let them deal with it. As you suggest, it may a need a new compressor,
too. Having to break the system open and also it having not run in so long,
it will also be time for new seals through out. Might as well get it all
done in one fell swoop!
