It's an '85, waterboxer, automatic. No AC but has power steering. The PO started rebuilding the engine, currently the cylinders and pistons are out but cleaned up and honed, ready to reinstall. The heads were also rebuilt. Gaskets, bearings etc are new in boxes. Also new exhaust pipes. Beyond the engine reassembly, it needs: tires, a poptop canvas, upper rear bunk cushion, rear bumper, propane tank, and a lot of cleaning up. Rust: There is rust in the left side panel below the hookups and at the rocker seam. Otherwise the body is fairly sound. The rust could be fixed without welding by using new metal (or old) and gluing it on with 3M body adhesive. I have a donor panel I could include, cut from a solid van. Brakes were supposedly gone through by the PO but he never got to bleeding them. I need $3500 for the van as-is. Located in central Oregon near Bend.
