yes ! I have a real clue to what might be happening ..

it's a blockage or leakage of electrons ! blocakage very likely. Juice ain't gettin' where it should.. including blown filaments.

but don't rush out and buy new bulbs.. test and diagnose first. Always that first.

I hope he'll learn how to use a basic 12 volt test light to look for the presence of juice, and also ground.

all a person needs is a 12 volt test light, and some jumper wires .. and know who to test a bulb on a battery say .. and know how to detect ground. all super easy, elemental even.
