And be sure to use a quality synthetic or semi-synthetic CV joint specific grease. In my 42 years of servicing Lobro CV joints Valvoline DuraBlend CV joint grease is the best I have found. CV joints I previously discarded because of wear that occurred with conventional CV grease have been repacked with Valvoline DuraBlend and are still running today. Note that CV joint grease is always enhanced with molybdenum disulfide. I have no connection with Valvoline. This is just my personal recommendation. Ed McLean |
