Subject: 2WD gas tank reseal...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8

hi,

could you please help me on this issue...

the gas tank is leaking on my 2WD '88 vanagon... the gas tank needs a complete reseal.. I have 2 choices...

1. have it done by a mechanic (waiting time and labor cost) 2. do it myself

on the option #2, some questions... - do I have to empty and take out the fuel tank? - can it be done by lowering the fuel tank a bit? - what else to do since I am in there?

many thanks in advance

dan
