for sure you gotta get that 86 type fuel filter leak fixed right away.

on the engine fuel lines .. I'd look REAL REAL carefully ..or get someone with sharp eyes to look EXTRA CAREFULLY at every inch of all fuel lines, particularity where the hose clamps are .

I personally , in dozens of gasoline vanagons, have never had a fuel hose problem .. but I check them all the time.

I like 'real' fuel injection hose clamps. not the cheap american # 4 type, and not the crimp type.

the best ones are a band type , with screw, fuel injection hose clamp. Van Cafe may sell them.

I thought the smell was strongest by the rear driver’s side. Later I turned on the fuel pump but not the engine. I found that each time I did this there was gas on the second fuel filter. I recently had the 86 and later fuel filter added to my van. now I find a big gas drip there each time I turn on the pump. > > I suppose I’ll start by tightening the hose clamps a bit.
