The oil cooler set up from an 86 and later will require some creativity to fit to a 1.9L. You will need to tie it into the cooling system and use a shorter oil filter to clear the exhaust. If the van is really a keeper and you plan to invest in its future for the long haul consider adding a real oil to air cooling system that will also be useable for later engines even if you upgrade to something non VW.

Volks...now that I've got oil pressure back to a reasonable level, I'd like to add oil cooling...

Does anyone have the bits and pieces I would need to add this?
