The correct hardware was P.C. 10.9 bolts, fine thread with all metal lock nuts also P.C. 10.9. Yes they are also rated. With this combination they should be reusable. These operate mostly in shear and there is nowhere near the load that the CV joints see. Some never seize will make it easier to tighten these up.
