John, I think that I read somewhere that methyl alcohol can be used. That is what I would use simply because I happen to have some left from a previous lifetime. It was once called "ditto fluid". If NAPA has a link to the MSDS safety sheet for its product, you might be able to find out what is in it. Larry A.
