While you have the reefer out, you may want to consider adding a fan inside to circulate the chilled air. I’m told it can make a significant difference in temperature inside. I used a small laptop sized fan mounted at the back next to and blowing across the heat sink.

It doesn’t move a lot of air, but it does move some. It also doesn’t draw much current. For a buck, I thought it was worth a try. (I have 2 buses with identical RM182a reefers in them . One has the fan, the other doesn’t. I’ll have comparison data after the WetWesties ReUnion on Sept 9-11.)
