Hi Folks,

        My fingers are crossed that I have found the source of the strong gas smell I notice most often after fill up and most often by the front passenger wheel.

        After a recent fill up and short trip to a store I waited by the van.  I sniffed around and then checked the hoses on the wheel well evaporation tank.  I had tightened them a bit recently.  I found one soaked with gas and the other damp on one end. 

So, I need to get the correct gas line and size and get these small sections replaced.

        The next time I checked them they seemed dry and I have not noticed them wet again. 

I don’t continue filling when pump turns off.

Once the lines are replaced and I fill the van I’ll report back but my fingers are crossed that this solves the problem for now.

Some list folks told me to replace these but they always seemed dry and intact when I checked.  If I had listened I may have solved this problem some time ago!
