Size-wise. I've just started using my GM Safari AWD work van again, after a long spell of enjoying my "new" Aa Transaxle 5 sp in my 84 tintop with westie inside. I think one of the unrecognized brilliant things about the Vanagon is It's perfect inside height...One can move about on your feet inside, not your knees...Just a fairly comfortable ducking, and even with hands full ( bicycle, tool box, windsurfer, baby, engine block...) One can get around easily...and yet they aren't much taller than an SUV...No other van builders have nailed it like the Vanagon. |
