I finally got around to the upper control arm bushing on my 84 2wd... It's been rotted and metal to metal now since I don't recall when... I've had the part for the right side for years, but other vehicles seem to take precedence, when it comes to my time... I had adjusted the alignment to compensate for the A-Arm being out of whack...the Vanagon was going straight and the tires weren't wearing weird, but I never realized how much noise was coming from that metal to metal connection.... Stuck in a Meyle bushing and It's now a lot quieter....Next is some White lower bushings...soon I'll be as quiet as a Prius.... |
