In 300k kilometres of van ownership I've used my spare twice for a total of about 50 km. I would have thought it would be ok to drive for a bit on a 14 inch wheel even if you've upgraded to 16. Is this larger spare really necessary or more of a want than a need? Thanks Jeff Hopefully upgrading to 16 inch next year! I heard BenT has developed something but I don’t have the details yet. I’m using the Van Cafe holder but would prefer my original clamshell with a reasonable modification. > > Eric Caron > 85 GL Auto > > > On Sep 23, 2016, at 9:07 AM, Andre Fiedler <fiedlerac@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > > I recently acquired a spare wheel with BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO > LT 215/75R15 tire on it and, if possible, would like to store it in > the clamshell of my 2wd 89 Westy.
