Is your skylight OEM or at least a really good, double pane copy? When I
first replaced my skylight (it was cracked), I did not know the
significance of the different ones available, and got one that seemed right
in every respect -- until it rained. I changed the gasket more than one
time, and tried a few different "fit 'em" techniques. Only after I got a
good quality skylight, and THEN did some of the "fit 'em" techniques did I
get a leak proof installation. I don't remember where I got it, but it was
from one of "our" vendors. Probably Bus Depot.
