For sure Mike, I see your points. I was suggesting that 'with some guidance' it could be done. But thats my point of view through engine swap obsessed eyes. ;) LOL. And, yes; a TDI is way more involved than a TD swap. The wiring harness on a TDI swap would be a big job for a newb.

I hope your conversion can be sorted out w/o too much trouble.
