I made my own clamshell, 215/75/15bfg all terrains. I re used the factory hinges and built a new frame to hold it up. Currently working on building my own swing away tire carrier for the rear, the tire seems to fill the hole too much and reduces air flow through the radiator and my temperatures are higher. Depending on your engine type (1.9l turbo diesel) temps and environment for driving a rear carrier may be a better option?
