Hi folks,

I’m not sure if I reported back on this gas smell problem. I did solve the problem for now. I replaced the four small hoses from the evaporation tanks in the wheel wells and no more gas smell. Of course also fixed the drip I found on the fuel filter hose.

So no more smell after several fill ups and trips.

I will be researching the best fuel hose and other hoses to replace for prevention. there is still a lot of cloth feeling hose on my van and I’m guessing that is pretty old and should probably be changed.

the hose I used was a bit two small in diameter as it was very hard to get on.

If anyone knows the exact internal diameter of the fule line used that would be a help.
