If you don't have it crated yet, remove the bell housing and the tail section and it will then fit in a large "Rubbermaid" tub. Makes it easy to handle and keeps any fluids at bay. I also wrapped it in a Heavy weight commercial type plastic bag and used a freight forwarder I found in line and it was under $100.00 from California to Virginia a few years ago.
