Is this a 4-speed or auto tranny? Auto trannies are very heavy so 200 sounds about right. When i have shipped them i had to split the diff from the auto tranny and ship in two boxes or else you need to ship freight. If its a 4-speed it should be nowhere near 200 pounds and hence you cause fedex or any other carrier. Use a rubbermaid or a double strength box with padding.

Makes it easy to handle and keeps any fluids at bay. I also wrapped it in a Heavy weight commercial type plastic bag and used a freight forwarder I found in line and it was under $100.00 from California to Virginia a few years ago. > > Stacy > > Sent from my iPhone > >> On Sep 25, 2016, at 10:31 AM, Michael <mikewelldon@ICLOUD.COM> wrote: >> >> What's up everyone, >> >> I'm in the process of getting quotes and arranging shipping of a transmission (total weight about 200lbs) from the Minnesota area to NH. >> >> currently I'm looking at quotes on Uship and was curious if anyone has recommendations for shipping companies and price points. >> >> Or you know, if anyone happens to be coming from Minnesota to NH that'd be great too :) >> >> Mike
