I just had mine (1983 vanagon air-cooled) done two weeks ago Its a test only center 7497 Mission St, Daly City, CA 94014 Regular price is $110 You can go there cheaper if you visit Bruce Tassi (http://www.tassiinc.com/) first to tune up you vehicle before the smog test. He is 1 min away from that smog test center and it will cost you $70 (instead of $110)
