Oh wait. Yeah, I guess the social darwinist sociopathic you're not the boss of me one was pretty on it.

We all got responsibilities to the people around us. Even globe sprawling super corps. Trouble is, you can't put ethics into a business charter. You'll get sued by your stock holders. So the only recourse is to do your worst and get sued by the government (at the behest of the people, hopefully).

That's how it works. Except for peculiarities like mining in Montana. And all those other peculiarities.
