Not exactly the same, but I learned that coils are oil filled after searching for a persistent oil drip from a van that I had purchased from a wrecking yard years ago. I cleaned the engine a couple of times before noticing a drip of oil on the bottom of the coil, where there was a pinhole leak. Presumably it was created during the accident that put the van in the boneyard. Angus
