1984 Vanagon Westfalia 1.9 liter motor Manual transmission New Ignition Switch Battery 12.81 volts sitting Bosch Reconditioned Startrer New Starter Bushing Cleaned negative terminals from battery & transmission today! Problem: If I touch the main terminal on solenoid to starter terminal(50), starter runs strong once, twice, three times, four times consistently. When I try from the starter switch – stater begins but then cranks slowly and sometimes stops dead but will eventually start. I have noticed that it seems to start normally when the engine is warm. Any more things for me to check? Thanks in advance. Wrenold
