We are selling our 1982 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia 1.6 Diesel - 7500 km
on new engine, great shape, excellent condition - as we are leaving Canada
after having an incredible summer road trip throughout the country.

In August we had the engine rebuild completely by a Volkswagen Westfalia
specialist. The engine therefore just has 7,500 km, runs very smooth with
low fuel consumption (7.5 l on 100 km) on 90 kmh average easy riding.
Moreover this specialist completely checked and prepared it in order to
ensure the success of our big road trip.

Paperwork on rebuilding is available (including a 2 year warranty of all
respective parts!) as well as of all repairs within the last years dating
back to the original owner that brought it from Germany to BC. Naturally
all necessary services and minor repairs were taken care of regularly which
we can go through in person.

Driving:
- 1.6 l Diesel (rebuilt by VW specialist in August 2016)
- 7,500 km with new engine (303,000 km in total)
- bill with 2 years warranty available
- frequently made services (oil changes, etc.)
- all cockpit appliances work
- exterior without damages, nearly no rust
- tires (all terrain) in great condition
- radio (incl. CD & aux)
- car jack, implemented spare wheel, fire estinguisher, steering wheel lock

Camping:
- interior facilities are original, very clean, no major damages
- sleeps 4 (foldout rear bench & pop-up tent)
- 2 adjustable tables
- all original curtains for complete sight coverage (incl. front curtain &
rear bug net) are in place
- all interior camping facilities work:
    + fridge (on both propane or electricity)
    + cooking appliances (on propane)
    + interior heating (on diesel)
    + electricity supply (on exterior electricity supply or battery)
    + wash sink (on battery)
    + lots of storage and hiding space (you'd be surprised)

History:
- imported from Germany to BC several years ago
- bought in BC and brought to Quebec by former owner
- bought by us in Montreal in July 2016
- all repair bills of this history available

This van is in excellent condition and has been treated with care. All
repairs in regards of the interior were made with original pieces to keep
its originality and authenticity. Unfortunately we have to leave Canada
earlier then expected and therefore would rather sell the car fully
equipped, including a package of rather new camping accessories (bought in
June/July), consisting of:
- bike rack for up to 3 bikes
- complete kitchen supplies: plates, pots, pan, kettle, french press,
cutting board, cutlery, cups, wine glases, etc.
- camping seats
- portable BBQ
- canadian tire toolset
- clean IKEA canopy
- clean IKEA carpet
- clean IKEA bed linen, blankets and pillows
- IKEA solar lamp
- street map Canada, USA, Mexico

To be transparent, here are the minor flaws:
- little rip on the rear bench fabrique
- tiny rips in the upper mosquito net
- one little interior foil damage in the back
- pop up tent shows some signs of age, but works properly, is clean, and
has no holes (see images)
- no backup battery (as we never needed one, but easy to install as all
necessities and plug ins available)
