Hi tom,
Once I learn for sure it is for sale I can go take a look and learn more. I’m assuming it is fairly rust free as it is from Arizona and not used in winters or much at all once it arrived here. Also I’m assuming it is a very standerd simple bus. If they are looking for internet prices I’m out of luck. But as it was gifted to them and they have wanted to find it the right home for some time I hope I have a chance to adopt. I’m not looking to flip it just enjoy making it pretty and get it out for some west river tube runs.
Can I count on you to drive it to the river drop off point?
Funny thing is I remember when the young woman told me about it years ago. I didn’t hardly listen as I wanted a vanagon for camping and travel. Now that I have a healthy vanagon I am looking forward to a special project. Now if I can also find a decent parts vanagon to play with I’ll be all set.
And, I’m sure there are some interesting connections between these vans, Example, wouldn’t the half moon hubcaps and my Bay window hubcaps be interchangeable? If so All three styles could share hubcaps.
