Subject: Friday: "Late Style" VW 1.8 turbo engine running CCW (backwards)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8

Hi all.

link to short youtube video of this engine being test run

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3fhXu8IdcU

From the mechanic doing this work:

" For those not familiar, this allows us to use the transmissions from the B5 Passats and Audi A4 2wd and Quattro in Vanagons (soon to be bay-window bus too!). As I mentioned in another thread, I have been working on this engine for years, since getting the "old style" 1.8t running. This is the same engine used in the SAH 1.8t kits. This is also a big step in getting the ALH TDi running CCW too, it shares the same oil pump.

Andrew- "
