Depending on how you look things up you will get different filter numbers for the application. The B243 is probably the best choice for the Waterboxer as the bypass valve is only 8psi. This is a commonly used filter. Using the filter cross reference you may get the B178 listed. With a 30 psi bypass you may get oil starvation during cold starts or when the filter loads up. As our engines often have trouble maintaining oil pressure you need to be careful with the higher bypass setting. Dennis
