Looking for the kit that prevents the tunnel from suddenly falling to the floor. This was a safety item at one time and as such VW provided a free kit along with labor ats dealership to fix it. Most vans have had this done by this time, and the time allowed for the free fix has long come and gone. But I happen to have a van that was in storage all that time and missed out. I need to fix this. Has any one still got the kit for this. It was simply two flat pieces of aluminum with as ever so slight offset bent on one side. Will you part with it? Would hate go out to the van one day and find the tunnel lying in the floor. The tunnel fell in my '88 GL while driving an interstates hiway, and scared the bejeebers out of me. Could really use the fix.

Thanks,

John
