The Vredestein is a very good choice if you drive in winter weather and don't change your tires seasonally. Of course no all-season tire will be as good in snow as a dedicated snow tire of comparable quality (which, unfortunately, is hard to find in the correct load capacity).

As a lower priced alternative, we just bought a closeout on a very small quantity of last year's Hankook RA08 - also an all-season tire - for $79 each in the same size:

As compared to the replacement (the RA18, which we also sell), the RA08's tread pattern is a bit more tilted to winter driving, even though both are M&S (all season) rated. If you do drive in winter weather and don't use dedicated snows, the RA08's are worth grabbing before they're gone, especially at this price. We only have around 8 sets of 4.
