Just to clarify, on my camper (a Riviera, not a Westfalia) the seat cushion
would hit the glovebox before clearing the track... I used to have to push
the seat forward using quite a bit of force in order to compress the
cushion enough to clear the track completely & allow the seat to be lifted
out.
