Hi Brett,

Very clever. I never thought about just turning the seat around. for non camper Vanagon’s being camped in this would be a nice thing to know.

Didn’t I read on the list here that the Westfalia seats are a bit shorter then the passenger van seats? if so that could be a way of solving the clearance problem without cutting the rails.

A friend has a similar van and he welded in the swivel from a Westfalia. this resulted in his loosing the storage under the passenger seat and changing the hight compared to the driver’s side. I’m pretty good with seat removal so knowing it can be reversed is a useful tip!
