Stacy, where the capstans are at the ends of the vertical bar, particularly the bottom one - do you replace that plastic pin which holds it in place with a metal pin? On the regulators I have, that is a common point of failure more than any other. Also, (1) are you able to replace kinked cables, and (2) can you rewind the cable properly on the drum inside the gear box?

Genuinely interested. Also how to do business: swap, trade, outright purchase, purchase plus core, what?
