GoWesty... If you have the horse power, the taller 3rd and 4th gears are great. I have an '84 with a 2.3L engine and rebuilt tranny with taller 3rd and 4th from GoWesty and am very pleased with the power. The taller 3rd makes it possible to travel around town in 3rd gear. Almost like having an automatic tranny.
