The Vredisteins I got from tires easy.com would be great on all four
wheels... I like em on my van with a couple thousand miles already... I've
been running nokians but they are ~ 2x $ the Vredisteins... similar tires
As for studded tires... here in the Northwest we get a lot of ice storms,
freezing rain, and my "favorite", freezing fog.. Combine that weather with
steep city streets and busy inexperienced drivers...studded tires work..
