For sure. Yes. Many suggestions on what to do and check. Apologies if already answered but.... after 24 hours with a cold engine, when engine starts, if you shut if off right away is it consistently hard to start again or consistently easy (normal) to start it again? I"m not suggesting parts in this system are at fault but temporarily "deleting" the idle control system is easy to do and would eliminate the idle control computer, idle control valve, and to some extent, portions of wiring harness to/from these parts as a possibly cause of issue. I did this on my '88. I disconnected the idle control computer, (in front of pass. side tail light), blocked outlet from intake snorkel to ISV and inlet at hose to ISV. All hoses concerned are in good condition. e.g. no vacuum leaks. Especially at smaller "Y" type hose between ICV and intake plenum. Neil.
