Mark, thanks ! That is exactly what the problem was. Putting a good ground to the black wire shuts off the LED. Now the LED lines only when the fridge is running on propane.

The green LED light on the control panel stays on wether or not the fridge is running on propane. After checking everything I can think of including replacing the thermocouple valve, electric output piece and control panel with known good ones, I have determined that if the propane line is disconnected and the 12v plug is disconnected the green LED goes out. Reconnecting either the 12v plug or the propane line turns on the LED. A real mystery that needs to be solved. >> >> >> Cheers, >> >> Frank Condelli >> Almonte, Ontario, Canada >> '87 VW Westy, '00 Kawasaki 250 Sherpa, "98 Ducati 750 Monster & Lionel Trains (Collection for sale <http://frankcondelli.com/trainsal.htm>) >> Frank Condelli & Associates <http://www.frankcondelli.com/> - Vanagon/Vanagon Westfalia Service in the Ottawa Valley >> BusFusion <http://www.busfusion.com/> a VW Camper camping event, Almonte, ON, June 02 ~ 05, 2016 >>
