This is a very timely thread.....my wife and I have been discussing retirement, and one option is to sell the house and go full-time Vanagon camping, at least for a short, indefinite period. As noted here, a small utility trailer would be very helpful to carry gear, thereby freeing up living space in the van. Plus I have been thinking of buying one of those portable garages, as seen in Harbor Freight and Sportsman's Guide, and modifying it with screens and extra height to create more sheltered living space, with the van parked in it. A trailer would be helpful in toting that around too. Instead of the basic trailer with a plywood bed, I was thinking of looking for a very light, perhaps fiberglass bodied, aerodynamic bullet shaped trailer, with inside space protected from the elements. That is, if such a trailer exists. (instead of putting all the camping gear in the van)... thanks in advance for any though... dan
