I've had one since the early 90's and it is an invaluable asset to me. I've pulled it with the van but not for long distances. it seemed to have little effect on handling etc. I've pulled it more with my 2002 Golf and use it for things that I would normally want a pickup truck for. Building supplies, mulch, small boats, appliances, etc. It came in kit form from Harbor freight or Northern tool. It's the kind that can fold up and roll into the corner on some little caster wheels built onto it. Mostly it has just sat outside ready to go though. I've replaced the plywood deck twice and the home-made sides once in 20+ years. It's only about $25/year for the registration and taxes and no extra insurance is needed for it. Edward
