I agree. My first thought was that the lower control arm brackets got bent rearward. With the passenger side wheel turned to right, if anything, I'd guess the tie rod would snap from being forced to "extend". Or, if wheel turned far enough, the steering rack rod would bend? If the upper control arm bushings were already worn far enough, maybe they failed due to accident? ie they were sacrificed instead of another part(s)? (That's wishful thinking though) Neil.
