I use the cable type chains on my Syncro rear tires. Now that the 4 wd is fixed Ill be driving without them except on ice. But the cable type chains allow you to drive faster and I use an extra bungee to really tighten them down on the tires. Sean G

I will be traveling in the camper this winter.  What chains should I get: traditional ladder style big link chains, modern diamond small link chains, or cable chains?  Of course, I hope not to use them, especially with the new Comtrac tires I just ordered at Les Schwabb.
