Hi David, Thanx for responding.  How are these solenoids used?  I know where the sensors are...but how do they tie into the intake?  I am unaware of the valve that will open to allow the extra air in. Thanx for your input! Z

P/S and A/C have solenoid valves to allow extra metered air into the intake plenum, they don't have any awareness of the stabilizer module.  On the 2.1l both functions are taken care of by the Idle Control Unit which controls the Idle Stabilizer Valve which takes care of all idle-speed issues by giving extra metered air.
