I agree with ORR, can't beat the Monroe Gas Magnums, under $150 for a full set.

hi all,


my son came over for Thanksgiving on his '88 GL... the van is all original
we gave him for his birthday last year...


so we talked van and we think he need new shocks... yes, it's quite soft
and a bit bouncy. I think either Konis ($440) or Bilstein or re-valved
Bilstein HD ($600) - he wants the Fox ($900). He lives in a rural area with
some dirt roads..


my experience: regular Bilstein HD are a bit soft, red Konis are just right.


do you think the Fox is too much for a 2WD tintop? (usage and price)
