Just tested those Vredisteins (com Trac all season 195 r 14c) on a drive through Nevada, Oregon and California. Nasty conditions on hwy 95 near Goldfield, NV saw cars, RVs and a semi or two stuck on both sides of the highway.... I managed to thread my way through, I'm sure on Momentum alone. And the folks who mounted these tires for me put em on backwards. I give these tires a thumbs up...Very stable on ice in 60mph cross winds, which I encountered for 50 miles....That being said...drive traction in a 2wd Vanagon still sucks! You lose momentum, you're done.... Les Schwab:. They have an outstanding "presentation" making their workers jog everywhere. ..looks impressive, but that is show only....they aren't good. Tires they sell fail..they make lots of mistakes....we gave up on Les Schwab....
