The right side grommet on top of the expansion tank was not sealing at all, judging from the dirt packed under it, and some muddy stains inside that tank. I've had gas smell over there forever when I've just filled up...even drips on the pavement... Wonder why they did that? Tried some silicone...not pleased so I ordered some new grommets. The way that is built, it must take in a lot of water .... easily enough to cause my no run situation ... fingers crossed...thanks all On Nov 28, 2016 10:00 AM, "Don Hanson" <dhanson928@gmail.com> wrote: Can one access the expansion tanks for the main fuel tank without removing the whole thing? If there's a halfway measure I could do to perhaps slow down water getting into the gas during Deluge Driving.... it'd be preferable to doing a total tank replacement in the sand on blm land |
