Neil:
We had a set of the LTXs on one of the trucks last winter. Everyone preferred my truck with the Nokian shoes. Similar experience a few winters ago when I put X-ice on my wife’s Jetta because I could not find a set of Hakkapeliitta or Nokian Rs due to Québec mandating winter tyres that year. In February, I ended up swapping the year old Hakka’s from my Jetta wagon onto the wife’s car and I spent the next 1.5 winters with the X-ice.
The Michelin are good, but not quite on the same level as the Nokians.
