Our mall, in Rutland VT, lost it's Sears last year, Penneys just before that. Kmart with it's paltry selection of Craftsman tools is the only anchor store left. The food court is totally vacant. More than half the stores in between left and are being replaced by antique stores, auctioneers, collectable dealers, and other similar second-hand retailers. I come across some interesting VW items often. Anybody know what items are most collectable? Toys, dealer literature, etc? TheĀ attached Ice Rink is going great guns, so maybe your new lake will offer new opportunities. The kids are crazy about the kayaking and SUPs (stand up paddle boarding) around here. Cheers, Syncro Steve

Parkway City had a Wards, I don't remember a Sears. The one that is closing is at Madison Square. I asked the clerk what was going to happen to the property and he said "they are going to make it into a lake." Just what we need, a lake.
