My original post in this thread used an unfortunate phrase.."fake news" Sorry. Since my departure from Wa. a month ago I've encountered a wide variety of temperature and humidity, using my Mr Heater (Buddy). First was cold, (20s- F.) dry and windy, then blizzard like snow turning to rain. Then low humidity and right at freezing nights, now warm (relatively) and near 100% with heavy rains... I have no numbers though. I'd guess my experience with this device represents a fairly comprehensive sample of conditions we usually encounter as Vanagon users. I'm finding the Mr. Heater does not cause me problems with condensation inside..On the contrary, it often removes steam(and frost) from inside my windows. That is weird, since it's supposed to give off vapor...But whatever the science... moisture inside is no concern in my month of use. The thing is sorta cheesy and the control knob is placed wrong for right hand use..One of ours needs to be tilted forward to readily ignite from the "Pilot". The other lights up fine... I'm not selling thesešbut I'm happy with them.. Good unit..'specially for the price..
