Hi all,
Looking for tips and or advice on importing a Vanagon from Canada to
California.


I am currently looking at a 1990 model with what looks to be a conversion to
turbo diesel VW engine. My questions are:
1) What issues if any that I will encounter?
2) Does it need to have a current California compliant exhaust system ie
catalytic converter or is there more to it?
3) Does it matter if it was a gas engine van at time of manufacture and now
has a diesel engine instead?


Are there any other questions that I am missing that should be asked?
