Eric,

Here is what I did to help with less than stellar washers. I cleaned the system with a vinegar solution thinking I might have some deposits in the nozzles. I cleaned the electrical connection at the pump. I cleaned the nozzle with needle.

Still had sort of feeble spray action. I thought about putting in a relay , I had suspicion I wasn't getting full electrical power at the pump. I never did measure the electrical there though, amps and volts, because I got lucky and found the culprit. It was the washer switch in the steering column. I took the switch assembly off and was able to get some fine abrasive paper and some contact cleaner in between the contacts for the washer.

I still think a relay would be a not so bad idea though.
